Your privacy is of great importance to Beenhakker Tegels & Bouwstoffen B.V.. We therefore comply with the privacy act. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement we explain what we do at Beenhakker Tegels & Bouwstoffen B.V. web shop with all the information we obtain about you.

Order processing
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to be able to process it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
For this purpose we use your payment details, name and address, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address. We are legally obliged to do so. We will retain this information until your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (which is the legal retention period).
Provision to third parties
We work with certain companies who may receive your personal information listed above from us.
For the processing of orders we work together with:

  • Our payment provider Mollie Payments
  • Our postal service Myparcel, postnl, dhl

You can use the contact form to ask us questions or make requests.
For this purpose we use your e-mail address, telephone number and name and address details. We need this because of the contract we have with you. We will retain this information until we are satisfied that you are happy with our response.
You can subscribe to our newsletter. It contains news items, tips and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also pass this on via your account.
Your email address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission. This data will be stored until you cancel the subscription.

Your account
Some parts of our shop require registration. You will then need to provide information about yourself and choose a username. With this we create an account, on which you can log in with that username and a password of your choice.
For this purpose, we use your name and address, telephone number, e-mail address and billing address. We need this because of the contract we have with you. We will retain this information until you cancel the account.
We save this information so that you do not have to fill it in again each time and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary with the web shop. You can change information via your account whenever you want.

Advertising
We would like to send you advertisements about offers and new products or services. This is what we do:

  • by post
  • by email
  • via social media
  • on the phone

You can object to this advertising at any time. Each letter tells you how to do that. Every e-mail contains an unsubscribe link. You can block us or use the unsubscribe option. You can indicate this when you are called. You can also pass this on via your account.

Communication to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we will under no circumstances pass on your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand it in the case of suspected crime).
Social media buttons are included in our webshop. By doing so, the operators of these services collect your personal data.

Cookies
Our web shop uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you do not have to fill them in every time. But it also allows us to see that you are visiting us again.
When you visit our web shop for the first time, we show a notification with an explanation about cookies. In doing so, we will ask for your consent to the use of these cookies.
You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of our webstore will no longer work properly.
We have made agreements with other companies that place cookies about the use of cookies. However, we do not have full control over what they do with the cookies. Please also read their privacy statements.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our web shop. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. They have strict agreements about what they are allowed to keep. We have not allowed Google to use the Analytics information for other Google services. We do not let Google anonymise the IP addresses.

Security
The security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured. We are constantly adjusting the security and paying close attention to what can go wrong.

Data Protection Officer
We have appointed a so-called data protection officer. This person is responsible for privacy within our organization. Our data protection officer is Dirk Beenhakker and can be reached by e-mail at info@beenhakkertegels.nl and by phone at 0255 – 51 40 10 for all your questions and requests.

Changes to this privacy statement
When our web shop changes, we must of course also change the privacy statement. So always pay attention to the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to announce changes separately.

Accessing, modifying and deleting your data
If you have any questions or would like to know what personal data we hold about you, please feel free to contact us. See contact details below.
You have the following rights:

  • access to the exact personal data we hold

  • the removal of outdated personal data

  • object to a particular use

Please make sure that you always clearly state who you are, so that we can be sure that we are not modifying or deleting data about the wrong person.

Filing a complaint
If you feel we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to make a complaint to the regulator. This is called the Personal Data Authority.
