Not Rectified

Below you will find all tiles that are non-rectified floor tiles and wall tiles that Beenhakker Tegels has in its collection. Non-rectified tiles are tiles that have only been fired and not subsequently sawn. As a result, non-rectified tiles have a slightly rounded side that slopes away at an angle. As a result, uncut tiles cannot be laid with narrow joints. The difference between non-rectified and rectified tiles in terms of joint is approximately 1 to 2 mm. In general, uncut tiles have a slightly more classic look and therefore do not look as modern. Tiles that have not been rectified are still widely bought, because height differences between tiles are less noticeable when laying non-rectified tiles. As a result, non-rectified tiles are ideal when the substrate is not straight. Rectified tiles need a surface that is very straight, because otherwise height differences are easily visible due to the shadow effect.
